ENVY GROUP SHOW is the 2nd show in the Seven Deadly Sins Project - a series of exhibitions at Beverly Owens Project in Toronto. This portion of the series runs from January 21 to February 7, 2010 with a reception on Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 7-10 PM at the 1140 Queen Street West location. The parameters for the show are that all artworks are 12 X 12 inches and under and priced under $500. Artwork by Eva Lewarne will be included in this exhibition. Lewarne has promoted her work at absolutearts.com since 2009.
From Lewarnes artists statement, Born and raised in Poland and living presently in Canada a graduate of OCAD, I have always painted.
In the last couple of years, I have received a Medal from France in a Painting Festival in Avignon. (Grand Prix). Not my first there. Also I have shown at the Grand Palais in Paris, before that. Photography is a second passion.
Most recently I have been pre-occupied with shooting abstract photos.
Besides painting, I teach art and lead Creativity and Health Workshops at Universities and private boardrooms.
