Aktan comments, "I heard there is a temple somewhere which is named Rainbow. Everybody is living there with peace, love, and happiness. We used to live there when we were child. Then we started run with wolfs and have lost our way. But I want to return to my rainbow temple again and I am still sure there is enough place for all of us, if we take a train of innocence."

Selin Melek Aktan also composes music and writes lyrics and has published an album with 5 songs. The proceeds support education projects for poor children. She is inviting everybody to remind ourselves of our innocence which universally children always have. Also last year she was invited to take part in a human rights exhibition in Italy with 103 artists from different countries. Aktan exhibited her works for child rights.
Selin Melek Aktan said, "I am living in a country where 50% of the population is under 25 years old. Our children are our future. They are pure energy and looking at the world with innocent eyes, and we should not destroy their life with war, sex abuse, and torture. Poor children need food, education and health care like all others. I compose music and have published this album with 5 songs which I sing to support education projects for poor children in Turkey.
