International Arts Forum
What new roles might be possible for art and artists in today’s increasingly inter-dependent world? Aside from the traditional studio-to-gallery/museum model, what other possibilities might be considered and to what aim? With a growing proliferation of artist-in-residency programs, what might be gained by bringing artists together with their international peers and to cultures and places different from their own?
Why should we care?
The discussion begins: Possibilities will be explored, ideas posited and dreams launched.
On April 12, from 10 am to noon, TransCultural Exchange invites the press and public to a panel discussion on artistic collaboration and cross-cultural ventures as part of TransCultural Exchange’s first annual international advisory board meeting.
Admission is Free. Seating, however, is limited.
