"Judy Chicago to Exhibit and Velvet Waltz"

As a tribute to Women's History Month, Ico Gallery has curated a selection of work by artist, feminist, humanist, educator and author Judy Chicago. The Gallery is exhibiting works from her early Feminist work, "Birth Project" and "Powerplay" series, and one of her recent glass sculptures.
In addition to the Judy Chicago exhibition, Ico Gallery is also featuring "Velvet Waltz", which emphasizes women's role in history, politics and art. They are featuring work by social activist artist Sue Coe, and Jerelle Kraus, the former art director of the NY Times. The exhibition also includes some of the most promising up and coming artists from around the world:
