KENOSHA
– Approximately 1,000 pieces of art work created by local students
will go on display Friday, March 26 in the Kenosha Public Museum's
East and West Galleries. Ceramics, sculptures, acrylics, photography
and many other forms of art are represented in the district-wide
student art exhibit.
“Student
ARTifacts,” presented by the Department of Fine Arts, includes
works from more than 950 students from all of the schools in the
Kenosha Unified School District. The young artists range in age from
Kindergarteners to high school seniors.
There
will be an opening reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 26
featuring musical performances by students from district schools.
“Student ARTifacts” will remain on display through Sunday, April
18.
