As spring moves into full swing, TNT will celebrate new beginnings and the transformation of MCASD Downtown into a site of artistic experimentation and innovation, on the verge of the latest in contemporary art practice.
Be the first to see four new exhibitions -- Ruben Ochoa, Lærke Lauta, Cerca Series: Lael Corbin, and Cerca Series: Mara De Luca -- all featuring new commissions made specifically for MCASD's galleries by four critically acclaimed emerging artists based out of Los Angeles, San Diego, and Copenhagen.
Hear artists Ruben Ochoa, Lærke Lauta, Lael Corbin, and Mara De Luca speak in the galleries about their work on view, and enjoy live music by YACHT and Bobby Birdman on the plaza.
Make your own paper airplane in an art-making experience conceptualized in partnership with Lael Corbin that includes a blustery flying obstacle course.
Participate in Agitprop's Art Tap Out, a live art critique pairing artists and critics for 25-minute rounds of discourse that references forms of head-to-head combat such as underground pugilism and ultimate fighting.
Tickets are $10 general, $7 students, and free to MCASD Members. Limited pre-sale tickets (general only) can be purchased online.

Conforme va tomando fuerza la entrada de la primavera, TNT celebra nuevos inicios y la transformación del MCASD del centro de San Diego en un espacio de innovación y experimentación artística surcando el límite de las prácticas más recientes en el arte contemporáneo.
Sé el primero en visitar nuestras cuatro nuevas exposiciones -- Ruben Ochoa, Lærke Lauta, Cerca Series: Lael Corbin, y Cerca Series: Mara De Luca -- presentando proyectos comisionados específicamente para las galerías del MCASD realizados por cuatro reconocidos artistas emergentes radicados en Los Ángeles, San Diego y Copenhague.
Convive y escucha a los artistas Ruben Ochoa, Lærke Lauta, Lael Corbin, y Mara De Luca platicar sobre sus obras en las salas del museo y disfruta la interpretación musical en vivo de YACHT y Bobby Birdman.
Participa de una experiencia de factura artística concebida en conjunto con el artista Lael Corbin construyendo tu propio avión de papel, así como participando de un curso de vuelo violento de obstáculos.
Forma parte del Agitprop's Art Tap Out, un encuentro de crítica en vivo que conjunta parejas de artistas y críticos en sesiones de 25 minutos de interacción discursiva, haciendo referencia a los combates cuerpo-a-cuerpo al estilo del boxeo clandestino y los combates-todo-permitido.
