Kelly Moran of Texas Collaborative Arts in Houston and Steve Cruz 
founder of Mighty Fine Arts in Dallas were co-curators of "Houston Vs 
Dallas Smackdown" round 2, held at Mighty Fine Arts and The H. Paxton 
Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College, Dallas TX. in January of 
2010 following the Dallas Houston Smackdown Part I with the T.C.A. 
Studio hosting Dallas area artists in December 2009. Dallas and Houston 
have been rivals on many fronts and this exchange presented an 
opportunity for the art communities to co mingle and have an exchange.

Houston team members returning to Houston's District 18 from the 
Smackdown exhibition at El Centro College and Mighty Fine Arts in 
Dalllas Texas are Kelly Alison, Yousef Balat, Lydia Bodnar-Balahurak, 
Penny Cerling, Noah Edmundson, Carter Ernst, Chris Hedrick, Pam 
Horsman,  Sharon Kopriva, Kelly Moran, Gail Siptak, and Bonnie Young.

/District 18/, continues from Sat. April 3rd,  through Sun.April 25th, 
2010. Nau-haus Art Space is located at 223 E. 11th St. in the Houston 
Heights. Gallery hours are from noon to 5 Saturdays and Sundays or by 
appointment. Owned and operated by Dan Mitchell Allison, Nau-haus is  
dedicated to the exploration of new and emerging talent, as well as a 
venue for established work by Houston's independent visual artists. For
