Bill Lowe Gallery presents
"Bloom: The New Abstraction"
a comprehensive look at innovators of
the next iteration of abstract painting in contemporary art. With a
dizzying and dazzling array of premier works, the show will examine
in depth the diversity of techniques employed by six of the world`s
most interesting and exciting abstract painters.
Included in this historic exhibition are works that range from
the extremes of meditative minimalism to those that are kaleidoscopic
in color and gesture - and everything in between. These artists are recognized around the world for transforming abstract vocabularies through technique and process that utterly reinvents, expands and elevates this discipline in visual art.
This impressive configuration of painters are Michael David, Udo Noger, Heidi Thompson, Richard Heinsohn, Katharina Chapuis,
Nicole Buffet, Mark Bowles, Sabine Tress and Kimber Berry.
The impact of this show is cinematic. It conveys the passion
and exuberance that have defined Abstract Expressionism and its
unique ability to move its audience to heights of understanding and
insight about the nature of life. Bloom is a celebration of our
movement into the 21st century.
