OCCCA, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art presents
Inexpressible's utopia of forms is the setting for improvisational dance by DTM2 and Insight Ensemble. Two choreographers and thirteen dancers join forces for an evening of performance at OCCCA. Lisa Naugle and Sheron Wray, choreographers on the faculty of the Dance Department at the University of California, Irvine, Claire Trevor School of the Arts, have both performed and taught internationally.

Choreographer Bios:
Dr. Lisa Naugle She has performed and choreographed in London, Amsterdam, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary and Canada, as well as throughout the USA. She identified the term "distributed choreography" and uses this concept in working with performers at various geographical locations in telepresence performances. Her work with the "Active Space" interactive environment has been presented in national and international venues over the past 10 years. She is the Choreographic Director at the Improvisation for Performance Summer Intensive in Andalucia Spain. Lisa is Chair of the Dance Department at UC, Irvine.
Sheron Wray Formally a performer with London Contemporary Dance Theatre, Rambert Dance Company and Artistic Director of JazzXchange Music and Dance Company in the UK. She is the director of Texterritory, a cell phone mediated dance theatre performance format. Self defined as a 'Performance Architect' she works with the mediums of dance, voice, music and technology. She has choreographed and taught extensively in the UK, USA, France, Cuba and West Africa. She joined UCI's Dance department in 2009.
