Art News:
Lise Hanssen's Spotted Hyaena Project brings us 'The Baiting Tree'.
An exhibition of photos taken
with a remote camera that provides us with a unique insight into
the secret lives of the
wild animals of the Bwabwata National Park.
These unexpected, voyeuristic, quirky and up close and personal
images are a far cry from the
holiday snaps taken in game parks and the more traditional wild
life photography. These
photographs take themselves. The wilderness they see is devoid of
human preconceptions, but
random, arbitrary, surprising, delightful and all its own.
