The great Catalan artist based in Sitges, Josep Puigmarti has paid a special tribute with an artwork to the six titles won by FC Barcelona between the current and last season. Puigmarti's work, already curious, unique and full of genius, is now extended with a sensational painting entitled "Ecsta-six". "I've been creating since I was born until today at my 78 years. My life has been to create, build and create ever more unlikely as my mind could imagine. It put a lot of imagination could ever have imagined glorious
moment have 6 cups and see it with my own eyes. Imagination is infinite, has no end point and when I know what I create, I lose interest. I'm not looking... encounter ... then, I am surprised."
The title combines two meanings in one word. Ecstasy, ie maximum and euphoria within this word, "six", titles that this effort based club, union and
sacrifice could accomplish.
Puigmarti has created this large-format original painting commemorating the
qualifications obtained by FC Barcelona in the year 2009. In the artwork a
character is showing signs of celebration, accompanied by the silhouette of
the six cups won. At the bottom of the canvas, we find a number 6 created with
the typical gestures of the artist. A work reminiscent of those successes to
continue to remain in our memories and in our retina.
Throughout his life, he has moved Josep Puigmarti bring his enthusiasm for the
club's colors to all the territories of the world where he has been
presenting his painting, with long stays in a large number of countries:
France, USA, Sweden, Italy , Japan, China, Germany, Denmark and many others
over 70 years. In 1992, the year of the European Cup and the goal of Ronald
Koeman, Puigmarti created a work of 200 x 130, entitled "The Soci 333,333".
This large painting is in the Museum of Barca.
These glorious moments of the 6 cups posed to him as "FC Barcelona", something
