"Little Treasures 2010 to Include Work by Cristina Rodriguez"

Curator Paola Trevisan has assembled 'Little Treasures 2010' for exhibition at Galleria De Marchi in Bologna from May 8 through 21, 2010. "They are the results of our intense search through the magical, spiritual and imaginary domains of our existence. Excavated with deepest thought and care, they are the polished jewels from each artist’s heart. Every gem is a fresh and spontaneous idea before it grows into something weightier - the rare pearl discovered deep within the luscious oyster." Trevisan continues, "Over recent years I have curated many fine exhibitions of artwork from individual creators from all over the world. Through the great diversity of individual expression these exhibitions have grown in size and attention and have always been well received."
Cristina Rodriguez was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1964. Since 1989, she has lived and worked in London. A passionate traveller, she has journeyed extensively in South America, Europe and Africa, finding enrichment and inspiration in the familiar and extraordinary practices and customs she encounters.
