Los Angeles, CA- ADC Contemporary Art Gallery, The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles,The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Chile and The National Council of Culture and Arts Chile, Antofagasta are proud to presents Dagmara Wyskiel's Solo Exhibition, "BETWEEN WATER and TIME". This exhibition includes a recent production consisting of videos and installations witch build a network of possible relationships between time and water. The video TIME CULTIVATION was made before the earthquake and tsunami in Chile, (March 2010), it could be considered and apocalyptic prediction. TAKE CARE OF YOUR GARDEN, involve the present of a secret system of vital connections. The clock is ticking, it is cyclical, repetitive and organic. In the ballroom, built by frozen columns, bring us again to the connection between water and time. Finally the video of urban performance WHAT CAN I DO WITH SO MUCH MEMORY?, connects time with displacement, migration, search, non identification.The sea marks the physical border between others and me, limiting all the past inside two suitcases. The exhibition will run from June 5th. to July 3rd. 2010.

Dagmara Wyskiel, from Poland has a master degree from the University of Fine Arts in Cracow. For the last nine years, she has been working in Installations, video and interventions in public spaces.

In the Installation Take care of your Garden, the clock is ticking, it is cyclical, repetitive, organic and the ballroom built by frozen columns, brings us again to the connection between Water and Time.

The Gallery established in 2005, is dedicated to the promotion of national and international contemporary artists, providing quality and original art for established and emerging collectors as well as a variety of International Art Exchanges, art residences and workshops programs for artists. Regular Hours: Tuesday to Friday from 10:30am to 6pm. Saturdays - 12:00 noon to 6:30pm.
