New Work

Artist: Linda Miller

Reception:  Friday, June 11, 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.

Linda will be showing new animal portraits, which continue to  
celebrate the special relationship between pets and their humans. She  
states, “The animal is always the star in my paintings. The whole  
animal is always depicted, whereas the whole human is never seen. The  
humans are often close by, with body language that tells the story of  
the relationship.”

As a painting departure from her beloved pet subjects, Linda created  
"Ribbons" capturing the luscious color and detail of these essential  
package trimmings. Adding more variety to her show, Linda collaged  
eight paper maché boxes and decorated a series of photo frames and  
mirrors with a paintbrush motif.

The reception for Linda Millers New Work coincides with the Davis
