Unexpected in scale and handcrafted in extraordinary detail, the
works of Charles LeDray stop us in our tracks. His sculptures in fabric,
ceramic, and bone elicit a sense of wonder for the deeper human stories they
suggest. CHARLES LEDRAY: workworkworkworkwork presents an
overview of the artist’s most significant work to date—including the
U.S. debut of the highly acclaimed installation MENS SUITS and
the premiere of a new work made up of more than 3,000 porcelain pots. Organized
by ICA Associate Curator Randi Hopkins, this nationally touring exhibition is
accompanied by a comprehensive catalogue. more
