Pollock comments about this exhibition, "This body of work is inspired by my time spent at an Artists' Residency in the small hill top town of Monte Castello in Umbria , Italy in 2009. The International School of Drawing , Painting and Sculpture has been
operating in Monte Castello for more than twenty years, running summer schools for art students as well as studio space for self-motivated artists." Hilary Pollock has been a Premiere Portfolio Artist at absolutearts.com since 2001.
