Axle Contemporary is pleased to announce a call for entries for our upcoming exhibition: Moving Stills, in their mobile gallery, to be located at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe during the 3 days of the 2010 Santa Fe Film Festival, and at other locations before and after the Festival. The gallery is asking New Mexico based filmmakers and video artists to send us stills (frame grabs) from their works for consideration for the exhibition.

Send jpg stills (frame grabs) no larger than 500 pixels high to: submissions@axleart.com

EXHIBITION: October 15 - 27.

Up to date information about their location will be posted regularly on axleart.com and twitter.

Submissions by: September 26.

Prints received by: October 13.

Accepted works must be printed to archival standards. All work will be for sale at the mobile gallery and online. Sizes: We aim to have mostly small prints (8 x 10) but may have space for several larger works. Axle Contemporary will take a 50% commission on all sales. Prices on prints to be determined by the artists. All work will be hung unframed, held with magnets Please submit stills that work as stand-alone images, no promotional images. Participants will be responsible for delivery and pick-up of prints. (by hand, by mail...)
