Los Angeles
Heather will be traveling to Los Angeles from her home in Vancouver, BC attend
the "Lowbrow Tarot" show at La Luz de Jesus in which her piece "The Wheel of Fortune" is included. If you can't
make the reception, the show will be up until October 31 and if you're nowhere
near L.A. you can still view all the art online on the gallery's Lowbrow Tarot page and look forward to a book and tarot card
deck to be released in future!

New Series to be Shown at La
Luz de Jesus, Los Angeles, 2011
We are happy to
announce that Heather Watts will be showing a new series of work at La Luz de
Jesus gallery in April of 2011! Although she doesn't have any images to
tease you with yet, we will be sure to update this list in the months to come
with sneak previews so stay tuned.
Original Art For Sale:
Heather will be
parting with a few pieces of her own art from her personal collection later this
week, including tiki-inspired work from her first years as a professional
artist. Proceeds from this sale will help finance the production of her
new series of work to be shown at La Luz de Jesus gallery in Los Angeles next
April.
Heather now produces tiki work almost exclusively on velvet
(she did only two non-velvet tiki pieces last year and none so far this year),
so this is a rare chance to have one of these full acrylic pieces.
How to Buy:
This art will be sold via an email list Heather maintains for
interest in non-velvet original art. Once the email goes out, paintings
are sold on a first-come-first-served basis. The email will go out later
this week, so if you are interested in purchasing an original, please sign up
