Countdown to Culver: An Evening of Light,
Space and
Sound
An Evening of Light, Space and Sound is a live sonic/visual performance that
will transform the facade of the Culver Center of the Arts into a large abstract
space of color, light, and form. Through video projections, abstract imagery,
and live sound compositions, the artists will blur the distinction between
public and private space while exploring new possibilities of live performance

8, and 9, 2010 for Culver Gala Opening Events. On Thursday, October 7, expect
amazing performances by community and university arts groups. On Friday, October
8, you'll see extraordinary student, foreign and independent films in the
Screening Room and visit with screen writers Gloria Katz and Willard Huyck in
the evening after a screening of their iconic 1973 film American Graffiti. Most
importantly, reserve Saturday night, October 9, for the Grand Opening Gala.

UCR Sweeney Art Gallery, and the future Culver Center of the Arts
