FRANCISCO ROMERO "Fragments"
|
Romero, is
an abstract Mexican Painter, a true specialist in visual arts, who live and
works in Guanajuato, Mexico, the town where he was born in 1972. His abstract
work is filled with bold, thick brush strokes that become part of his signature
iconography. He often experiments with different materials that fill his work
with strong textures full of color. His inspiration comes from the exploration
of the spiritual conflict of the contemporary man and the everyday chaos of
life. The most primitive feelings are captured in his paintings in a subtle and
organic
way.

MARCO MIRANDA- "Way Home"
|
Miranda,
who lives and works in Mexicali, Mexico, he was born in Hermosillo, the state of
Sonora, Mexico.
The artist's fascination with "the reflection of light on a 'necessarily'
elusive material surface." His strokes "know their place in a motif that exists
entirely within the painting." According to Miranda, these new works in Cycles -
ephemeral, cyclical-like paints that reflect light and change color when seen
from different angles -- are an attempt to realize his earlier, abstract works
in color and graphite. The dynamism of the colors adds to the dramatic actuality
of the
paintings.
