Outdoor sculpture installation Sept. 28 at Dublin Arts Council
WHAT:
Installation of three sculptures that comprise Titration3: Rock, Paper, Sculpture, a Dublin Arts Council outdoor on-loan sculpture exhibition. The sculptures include two 11- to 17-ft. tall figures made from trees and a 1.5-ton carved stone. The exhibition opens to the public Sun., Oct. 4 from 1 to 3 p.m., and will remain on view for one year.
WHO:
Boston sculptor Joseph Wheelwright, in collaboration with Dublin Arts Council and City of Dublin staff.
WHERE:
On the grounds of Dublin Arts Council, 7125 Riverside Dr., Dublin, Ohio.
WHEN:
Monday, Sept. 28, approximately 9am to 2pm. Best photo opportunity should occur when artist is lifted by cherry picker to install the head on one of the sculptures. Schedule to be determined by artist and crane operators.

WHY:
The exhibition represents the continuation of a unique method for acquiring public art in Dublin. Visitors will vote for the sculptures Oct. 4 - Nov. 1 to assist Dublin Arts Council in selecting at least one artwork to purchase as a gift to the City of Dublin as a permanent installation.
