ART TOUCH COLLECTION is pleased to present
Kotaro Fukui's first exhibition in Connecticut.
This exhibition focuses on two of Kotaro Fukui's
favorate motifs: ostriches and irises. His work
addresses contrasts and harmony. He mixes Indian
ink with mineral pigments and paints with brushes on
Washi (Japanese paper) or canvas. His style is
unique, refined and aesthetically contemporary. His
work has been collected by many museums and
organizations, such as The Observations Center of Art
Works, Saku City Museum of Modern Art, and The
Japanese government's Agency for Cultural Affairs,
Ehime Prefecture, The Sato Museum of Art and The
Hiratsuka Museum of Art.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to
4pm or by appointment.
