The Nexus Award is given in recognition of demonstrated excellence and achievement by individuals who have made a profound contribution to contemporary visual art in Atlanta and beyond. We are pleased to begin the process of selecting the recipient(s) of the 2011 Nexus Award and we are opening up the nomination process to the public. In order to consider the widest range of potential recipients, we seek your suggestions of worthy individuals who exemplify the Nexus Award criteria. All nominations will be considered by the ACAC Board of Directors and staff before making the final choice of award recipient(s). Nomination deadline is Fri, Dec 31, 11:59 pm.

Hammonds House Museum

No Crystal Stair, an exhibition of work by artist Charlotte Riley-Webb, is on view at Hammonds House Museum Dec 5, 2010 - Jan 30, 2011. Riley-Webb is an award-winning artist whose bold, colorful palette and rhythmic style distinguish her work. The exhibition opening reception is free and open to the public Sun, Dec 5, 2 – 5 pm, with an Artist Talk at 3 pm.

ACAC and Hammonds House Museum are partner institutions, and members receive free admission to all exhibitions and non-ticketed programs.
