Everything Is Just Wonderful! is an art exhibition organized by Blissland Project: there’s no wonder Politics is ashaming the world and there is not much we can do. Still, we can laugh about it. John Heartfield / Helmut Harzfeld
knew that, and back in the 40's entertained Europe with his amazing and satirical photo collages, striking
the regime right in its strictness with a totally peaceful but dangerous power: the strength of the transformation into ridiculous. Now, in times when Politics seem to be once again far away from the people’s everyday life, Art has the duty to bring both closer: under the bad influence of Heartfield, seven artists from all over the world will present their works, marked by the ambitious aim to make the public’s consciousness more sensitive and committed in a satirical way. Blissland Berlin will host the exhibition from 4 throughout 23 December 2010. Blissland is a new media and art project located in Berlin, run by a collective of musicians and artists deriving from many fields of art and disciplines. In the Land of Bliss every single atom is permeated with Art, as well as every
month we try to alter the composition by mixing atoms of Sound, Visual and Culture, in order to create a different perceptive reality, in which it would be possible to see with different eyes, hear with different ears, think different thoughts and speak various languages.
Everything Is Just Wonderful! è una mostra d'arte organizzata da Blissland Project: la Politica è la vergogna del mondo, non è una novità; e non c'è molto che si possa fare. Possiamo, però, riderne. John Heartfield / Helmut Harzfeld lo sapeva e negli anni ‘40 divertì l'Europa con i suoi bellissimi fotocollage
satirici, colpendo il regime e la sua severità con una forza totalmente pacifica
eppure pericolosa: il potere di ridicolizzare. Ora, in tempi in cui la Politica sembra nuovamente lontana dalla quotidianità delle persone, l'Arte ha il dovere di riavvicinarla: sotto la cattiva influenza di Heartfield, sette artisti da tutto il mondo hanno presentato i loro lavori con l'ambizioso obiettivo di sensibilizzare la coscienza del pubblico in modo satirico. La mostra sarà presentata presso Blissland Berlino dal 4 al 23 dicembre 2010. Blissland, un progetto d’arte e nuovi media con base a Berlino, è diretto da un collettivo di musicisti e artisti provenienti da varie discipline. Nella Terra di Bliss ogni atomo è permeato d'Arte e ogni mese
cerchiamo di alterare la composizione coniugando atomi di Suono, Visual e
Cultura, con lo scopo di creare una realtà alternativa laddove sia possibile vedere con occhi diversi, ascoltare con orecchi diversi, pensare pensieri diversi e parlare altri linguaggi. Blissland, 2010 |
