Gift items from over 30 local artisans will be available at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, December 2 to 24 as part of a new initiative being coordinated by the Lehigh Valley Arts Council. Unique hand-crafted items of numerous materials including glass, fabric, wood, pottery, jewelry and more will be offered for sale in Suite 819, directly across from LL Bean at the shopping center. The Promenade Shops are located in Center Valley, PA, off I-78 at Route 309 between the cities of Allentown and Bethlehem.
Many of the artists being featured at the store recently opened their doors during the Hidden Treasures Studio Tours, including Jeff Kleckner, Jon Roylance, DeLana Hornbeck, and Daniel Gaumer of Topton
Glass Works. Other local favorites include Gloria Light, Svetlana Howells, Tom Buchner, Joyce McCullough Barbara Tiberio, and Brian Toseland.
“We are excited to partner with so many talented artisans,” states Randall Forte, Executive Director of the Lehigh Valley Arts Council, “the huge variety of artful gifts in one location together with an extensive price range translates to having ‘something for everyone’ this holiday season”.
The Hidden Treasures store will follow the hours of operation established by The Promenade Shops – Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through December 10, when The Shops begin extended holiday hours. For extended holiday shopping hours, The Shops will be open one hour earlier and will close one hour later until December 24. The Promenade will close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Details are available at www.promenadeshopsatsauconvalley.com.
