Gasworks Yaoi
An exhibition by Francesc Ruiz
Until 23 January

For his first solo show in London, Francesc Ruiz has transformed the gallery into Gasworks Yaoi, the first Boys Love Bookshop in South London.

Originating in Japan, the yaoi genre focuses on homoerotic male
narratives, created as well as consumed by women. Having researched the gay establishments in the local area of Vauxhall, Ruiz has created a semi-fictional narrative that plays with the clichés around sexuality and lifestyle in the area.
