FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
December 4, 2010 (Miami, FL): The hottest
party of the Art Basel weekend is the Miami New Times event tonight at Fountain
Art Fair. Hip hop/blues star G. Love returns to Fountain joined by hip hop/pop-punk trio NINJASONIK and special guest DJ
Shepard Fairey. Local rockabilly gem Celine and the Hellbillies and DJ Laura (of Miami) will start
the show. The party begins at 7pm and features an open bar stocked with Famosa Beer and Rums of Puerto Rico until 12 am at 2505 North Miami Avenue (at the
corner of 25th St).
The musical acts will be joined on our outdoor 5,000 square foot
lawn by the mobile art installation, Fish Tank. This amorphized military assault vehicle makes its Miami debut
for Art Basel Miami 2010. You may have seen it in South Beach last night, but
today and tomorrow you can find it here at Fountain Miami. This 29 ft long, 16ft tall, 8 ft wide
art car was created by Overkill for Burning Man, and is now a street legal car
that is taking over cities one at a time. To join the
revolution and/or for more information on the construction and production of
the Fish-Tank check out facebook.com/fishtankllc or
email FishtankLLC@aol.com.
