Hello,
The Magda Danysz Gallery is happy to present its program for 2011..
|
From January 8th, the Magda Danysz gallery will exhibit a group show, Chase the Dragon.
This exhibition aims to confront several artists’
opinions on the topic of surpassing oneself. The gallery will display
the works of both young upcoming painters like Kosta Kulundzic, Axel
Pahlavi and Jérôme Zonder and experienced artists like
Larry Clark, Dado and the filmmaker Gaspard Noé.
It will be a chic and rock exhibition which discusses not only the
relationship between painting and emotions, but also the capacity of
these artists to surpass themselves in search of the shiver given by
artistic creation, a feeling as intense as the first time.

From March 19th to April 30th, come discover Miss Van’s new exhibition, Twinkles.
Three years after her last
French exhibit, Miss Van has come back to her homeland with a series of
paintings celebrating classical painting.
Once a street artist painting curvy, enticing pin ups in the streets of
Toulouse, Miss Van now creates more melancholic, subtle paintings.
Thanks to her numerous travels Miss Van has turned her works into
complex worlds that express sadness, mischief and coquetterie.
