The bold gestural pictures by John Evans have, in recent years, taken a back
seat to careful manipulations of paint that featured a brighter pallet of
colors. While Evans' superb color tensions remain, the brush and the drip are
back. As viewed in SPRING FIELDS, Evans takes a classic composition and
turns it on its head. SPRING FIELDS is a celebration of painting not to be
missed.
Additionally available are four new small works and one mid sized
painting.

Congratulations to Max Ferguson on the 3 page spread in the
Daily News. The show has been covered on numerous sites including Art Info
& The Huffington Post.
Over 800 people attended the gallery packed
opening which featured hors d'oeuvres from the original Katz's Deli and a
documentary crew who filmed collectors responding to newly acquired works.
