Hello,
For anyone planning to visit the Metropolitan Museum
of Art in the upcoming months, we urge you to take advantage of the opportunity
to view Korean-born artist Il Lee’s work in person! Lee's new
large-scale work on canvas, accompanied by a ballpoint pen work on paper, are
even more breathtaking up close. Lee’s work will be on view until
March 27, 2011, as a part of the Representation/Abstraction in Korean Art
installation in the Arts of Korea Gallery.
There will be an opportunity
to hear the artist in discussion with Met curator Soyoung Lee tomorrow, December 14, 2010,
at 11AM at the Met.
