ERIN LEE GAFILL Returns Home to Big Sur After Successful National "Championing the Arts" Tour

LOS ANGELES, CA - Erin Lee Gafill, a 5th generation artist and native of Big Sur, joined forces with the Carol Channing and Harry Kullijian's ChanningARTS Foundation to raise awareness of the value of arts in education. After a triumphant two month cross-country adventure, Ms. Gafill will soon be returning to Big Sur with new inspiration and the intent to paint, paint, paint.

Before Erin returns to Northern California, long-time associate and For Love of Home creator, Catherine Richardson, will be hosting a welcome back event for the artist in Brentwood on December 16. The event will include stories from the trip and work inspired by Ms. Gafill's experience on the road. Ms. Gafill, along with husband and photographer, Tom Birmingham, visited many communities around the U.S. and Toronto to share creative inspiration and work with communities and arts organizations who champion the value of the arts and arts education. The couple returns to Big Sur via Los Angeles to refresh, relax, and rejuvenate before continuing their mission to raise awareness and keep arts in our schools.
