back to top The Unwritten Country exhibition opening
The Unwritten Country by Simon Normand opened at the Colour Factory Gallery in early December. This exhibition is a survey of sacred places with unwritten stories that are still known by Indigenous communities of the Roper River region in South-East Arnhem Land. Much of this knowledge is in imminent danger of being lost due to a proposed Iron Ore mine in the Limmen National Park. It is a timely exhibition for the Colour Factory as it coincides with the beginning of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
