Atlanta's resident art star Fahamu Pecou ("Fahamu Pecou is the Shit!") brings some holiday cheer to his outrageous talk show. His guests for this rendition of The 15 Project are from the realms of café culture, art, and music. Jason Orr is a culture analyst and producer responsible for developing creative content for Atlanta's Woodruff Arts Center and the High Museum of Art, as well as the legendary FunkJazz Kafé Arts & Music Festival. Michael Rooks is the Wieland Family Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the High Museum and was the Commissioner of the U.S. Pavilion at this year's Venice Biennale of Architecture. Dionne Farris is the Grammy Award-winning vocalist known for her work with the hip hop group Arrested Development and her own solo work. Plus Music Director DJ Kemit and a special performance by the Strumming Mummy. Bring some mistletoe and come on by! Free parking for reindeers. Doors open at 7:30 pm.

The Nexus Award is given in recognition of demonstrated excellence and achievement by individuals who have made a profound contribution to contemporary visual art in Atlanta and beyond. We have opened up the nomination process to the public to begin the process of selecting the recipient(s) of the 2011 Nexus Award. All nominations will be considered by the ACAC Board of Directors and staff before making the final choice of award recipient(s).
