The Bigger Picture Launches in January 2011
Professional Development and Creative Workshops
for Photographers and Visual Artists

The Silver Eye Center for Photography is pleased to announce the launch of

The Bigger Picture, a new initiative designed to connect you to the knowledge, training and resources needed to take your professional career and creative vision to the next level.

The Bigger Picture
's monthly workshops are organized around three tracks -- acquiring new business and communication skills; optimizing digital technologies, web and social media to build and retain audiences, patrons and clients; and finding new, innovative ways to stretch your creative vision and practice.

Classes begin this January and are offered at introductory, intermediate and advanced levels. Programs will take place at Silver Eye's South Side facility and at other venues throughout the city.
While developed specifically for fine art and other photographers, these workshops are applicable to any visual artist who wishes to better define their strategic vision or attain their creative and entrepreneurial goals.

The Bigger Picture
is made possible in part through a Seed Award from
The Sprout Fund and the support of The Fine Foundation.
