Reservations Still Available For Olive Drop NYE Party
BARTLESVILLE, OK – It is a Bartlesville tradition! Price Tower Arts Center is ready to ring in the New Year as the annual Olive Drop returns on December 31st to Copper Bar and the Price Tower. The fun includes a countdown with a giant green olive dropping from the top of the Price Tower into a large martini glass. A limited number of reservations are still available.
“We love doing the Olive Drop every year,” said Tim Boruff, executive director of Price Tower Arts Center. “People really enjoy coming to our iconic building for a special evening with their friends and family. It is an experience you cannot have anywhere else.”
This year’s Olive Drop will feature a catered, five-course meal in Copper prepared by Outlaw’s Gourmet Catering. The special menu will include hors d’oeurves, soup and salad, a choice of entrée from USDA Prime Filet Mignon topped with Jumbo Lump Crab and Béarnaise or Grilled Alaskan Halibut topped with Crawfish Etouffee and Dirty Rice. Cranberry-Glazed White Chocolate Cheesecake will be offered for dessert.
Reservations are still being accepted for dinner and special room packages are available from the Inn at Price Tower. Seatings for the dinner will be at 7 o’clock and 9 o’clock on New Year’s Eve. Space is limited, so reservations are required.
“This great event will include a countdown and complimentary champagne toast at midnight as the olive drops from the top of the Price Tower. The public is invited to take part in the Olive Drop as everyone rings in 2011,” added Boruff.
Copper Bar will be open for revelers to mingle before the Olive Drop and a number of specials will be available. To make reservations or for more information about the Olive Drop, call 918.336.1000 or visit pricetower.org.
