How a small decision can make a big impact
In 2010, all of America changed the way we made decisions. We started paying closer attention to the bottom line, making our money go further and our decisions more impactful.
Now we recognize that when we choose to get involved with a project, organization, or person, that decision should make a difference.
At the Art Center we call it "Supporting Local".
Support Local means that when you support the Hyde Park Art Center, you have a direct and measurable impact on the people we serve. When you decide to donate $25, $50, $100 you teach high schoolers to express their creativity while building leadership skills; you support the careers of emerging artists, you ensure that art remains free and accessible to the over 45,000 kids, teachers, neighbors, and artists who use the Art Center's services each year.
