A weeklong festival in January exhibiting groundbreaking "Art of Haiti".
VIE Water and the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art would like to invite local artists to participate in "Art of Haiti" by creating their vision of Haiti.
All media will be considered. Three (3) entries maximum at no cost, hand delivered work only.
Deadline for entries: January 8, 2011.
All works must be for sale at auction, with 50% to VIE Water.
All submissions must be sent via email to info@viewater.org with high resolution 300 dpi photographs, and include artist name, address, title of work, medium, size, and minimum selling price.
Email notification of accepted entries by January 10, 2011.
Deadline for delivery of accepted entries at OCCCA: January 15, 2011.
Pick up of hand delivered work: January 29, 2011.
VIE Water is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing clean drinking water to people in Haiti and in other developing countries. VIE Water is additionally committed to serving communities in a manner that empowers them to grow and develop into their full potential. VIE Water creates sustainable water well drilling programs by empower Engineering students with training, equipment, and geologist/hydrologist expert supervision to alleviate the water crisis.
