the First Bull Run in a Second Friday Lunchbox Lecture Series from
12-1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 at the Civil War Museum.
On
July 21, 1861, two unprepared armies met on a battlefield outside
Manassas, Virginia, in the first major battle of the Civil War.
Dammann will discuss the factors that led up to the battle, what
occurred, and how the results shocked the northern half of the
country. The lecture will take place in Freedom Hall. Bring your own
