KENOSHA, WI – Learn how to make
comfort foods to get you through the winter during a cooking class
with with instructor Rita Ramacci from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16
at the Civil War Musuem.
Ramacci, owner of Francine's Fine
catering, uses ingredients found at farmer's markets and from local
producers. It's now the perfect season to cozy up with favorite
comfort foods for the long winter days. Menu includes a twist on beef
stew, hearty soup and a pot pie. Cost of the workshop is $25 or $20
for Friends of the Museums. Advance registration is required. Class
includes demonstration, recipes, sampling and a bottle of water.
