Lyons Wier Gallery is
pleased to announce our INAUGURAL exhibition, Here & Now, opening
Saturday, January 8th, 2011, 6-8PM. Here & Now highlights gallery
artists who will have solo exhibitions in 2011 & celebrates the gallery's
expansion to 542 West 24th
Street.
Here & Now will feature new work by Andres
Basurto (glass sculpture), Cayce Zavaglia (embroidery), Chris Cosnowski
(painting), David Lyle (painting), Fahamu Pecou (painting), James Rieck
(painting), Jan Huling (glass bead sculpture), Laura Ortiz Vega (fiber), Martin
Wittfooth (painting), Mary Henderson (painting), Melodie Provenzano (drawing),
Ryan Bradley (drawing), Terri Thomas (sculpture), Sin-ying Ho (ceramic), Tim
Okamura (painting) & Vadis Turner

Each artist
mines the rich and historied vocabulary of Realism in painting. Their
individual spirit and interpretive dexterity of the world around them is their
common thread, but their inimitable and relevant voice is what sets them
apart.
We cordially invite you to see our forthcoming
exhibition roster and celebrate the New Year in our newest location on
24th Street (btw 10 & 11th Aves.)
