Paul Cowan, Cameron Soren, Amy Yao

The Jancar Jones Gallery is pleased to
announce a group exhibit of painting, sculpture, and video by Paul Cowan,
Cameron Soren, and Amy Yao. The show will include paintings and sculptures
by Cowan and Yao and a video installation by Soren.
Paul Cowan’s work has been exhibited,
most recently, at Golden Age and Roots & Culture in Chicago, Important
Projects in Oakland and West Street Gallery in New York. He received a BFA
from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and is an MFA candidate at
the University of Illinois, Chicago. He lives and works in Chicago.
Cameron Soren is a San Francisco-based
artist whose work has recently been shown at Jancar Jones Gallery, and the
San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery in San Francisco and on
JstChillin.org. He received his BFA from the San Francisco Art
Institute.
A solo show of Amy Yao’s work is
currently open at New Jerseyy in Basel, Switzerland. Her work has also
recently been shown at Jack Hanley Gallery, Art in General, Art Since the
Summer of ‘69 and Gavin Brown’s Enterprise in New York, Karma
International in Zurich, Cave Gallery in Detroit, China Art Objects/Cottage
Home in Los Angeles, and was included in the High Desert Test Sites in
Joshua Tree, CA. She received a BFA from Art Center College of Design, Los
Angeles and an MFA from the Yale School of Art. She lives and works in New
York.
