Look what happened to me at midnight, January 1!

No, no, don't fret, this identity crisis isn't permanent, it's just where it's at this month, baby! Always keep your audience confused -- that's the bullet train to a national brand, I always say! In February I'll turn into a stage director, but that's another update. As for January:

* The fun begins Wednesday, January 19, 7pm when I join Epstein & Hassan on the Black and the Jew Comey Hour on Raw Eneregy Radio (rawenergyradio.com). And if you miss the live webcast, no need to be a putz, my bruthah! The next day the show will be streaming online to embarrass me thereafter in perpetuity.

* Friday, January 21, 9:30pm, don't miss Trav S.D.'s Bohemian Theme Park at Dixon Place. Bongos, beads, poetry and the incense of unwashed narcotic genius. Come commune with us in our funhouse of ironical anti-hipsters, as we stick it to Big Daddy with a bit of beatnik comedy show biz. Are we for real? Are you? Zing-o! Now, hand over the bread, baby! Hosted by Nihils, and featuring Jonny Cigar, Esther Crow (as Ethel Goldblatt), and Carol and Carol (Hope Cartelli & Iracel Rivero), et al, including the WORLD PREMIERE of a film by Trav & Art Wallace, starring Trav & international singing sensation Deenie Nast, with Lynn Berg, Trav, Bryan Enk, Audrey Crabtree, Marla Yost and Goddess Perlman. The plot? The art house classic POISON SHIRT/ BOOTS OF THE TRANSSEXUAL tells the tale of a feisty witch lady who done sewed a whole sheet of acid tabs in her old man's jacket, sending him deep into what the young people call a "bad trip". A very bad trip, indeed.

* Wednesday, January 6, 8:30pm, catch me as Nihils one more time in Esther Crow's "Crow's Nest" at Zora Art Space, 315 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn. Hosted by crazy lady Ethel Goldblatt, and with a whole different cast of characters. Get all the dope here.
