CCCB HIGHLIGHTS

From 6 to 13 January

Exhibition Through Labyrinths

An exhibition about labyrinths with all their magical, religious, symbolic, aesthetic, moral and scientific implications, through the ages and different cultural traditions.

This exhibition, scripted by Ramon Espelt, curated and designed by Oscar Tusquets, with Jorge Wagensberg as advisor.

Exhibition THE BAROQUE (D)EF(F)ECT. Politics of the Hispanic Image

To 27 February

The Hispanic phenomenon symbolizes the homogeneous framework shared by Spain and Latin America. But who built this myth and what strategies have been generated to keep it going down through the centuries, through many different regimes, ideologies and governments?

This exhibition, curated by art historians Jorge Luís Marzo and Tere Badia, is a meticulous examination of the relation between the Hispanic myth and its principal survival strategy: the baroque.
