EDUCATION TINY TUESDAYSJANUARY 18 - Silly Snowmen Collage Join our guest artist Erin Oldfield in the Education Center this Tuesday from 10 am to noon for a come and go, open-ended art making activity geared towards children, ages 2-5, with a parent or caregiver. This "drop-in" style program encourages families to create together, to explore and experiment with a variety of art media, and to enhance their understanding of artworks in the Museum. Dress for mess! No advance registration is required. Free with paid Museum admission. GALLERY STORIESDiscover stories about artists, artworks, and their inspiration! Save the date for January 18 at 11am! We'll meet on the second floor in the English painting gallery and learn how to look more closely at works of art. Our featured selections will include Look! OMELETTE PARTY - THE FOOD
OKCMOA's 27th Annual Omelette Party, Eggs a la MOD, is Saturday, February 5, from 7:00-midnight at the Coca-Cola Bricktown Events Center. Since the fundraiser has food in the title, our chefs and restaurants are especially appreciated! Seeking TEENS!
OKCMOA is looking for 10-12 high school juniors and seniors who have a passion for art to be on our first Teen Council. We will meet monthly from February - August 2011.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Plan a teen event held at the Museum Hear about various careers within the arts Be involved in a teen filmmakers screening Learn how to become one of our first teen docents Applications DUE BY JANUARY 24
