THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS (THE MUSICAL!)
by Joanne Bogart and Eric Rockwell
Music by Eric Rockwell and Lyrics by Joanne Bogart
Directed by Michael Laun
The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) is five musicals in one, each with the same plot but done in the style of a different famous Broadway composer-- from Rodgers and Hammerstein and Stephen Sondheim to Andrew Lloyd Webber. Each musical features parodies and references to such favorites as The King and I, Into the Woods, and The Phantom of the Opera. Directed by Michael Laun and starring local favorites Michael "RJ" Campbell, Jessica Goldman, Martha Kight and Jerry Lee, this hilarious homage to great musical theatre is sure to delight!
