Adobe Photoshop for Photographers with

Fee: $125.00 for members; $140.00 for non-members

This course is an introduction to Adobe Photoshop as a primary tool for creating images and digital portfolios.

Digital Fine Art Printing with John Mannion,
Light Work, Syracuse, NY

Saturday February 12, 2011, 10 am-3 pm
Fee: $145.00 for members and Pittsburgh Filmmakers Access members; $160.00 for non-members

This is a unique opportunity to learn about the intricacies of digital printing from John Mannion, one of the country's master printers. You will also have an opportunity to examine work that Mannion has printed for world-class photographers.

Writing for Artists with Sarah Schmerler,

As close as you are to your own artwork, you would think it easy to write about it. However, many artists get tangled up in knots, trying to find a way, within the art of writing, to express what they are already saying in their visual art. This workshop is aimed at untangling those knots in an enjoyable and methodical manner.

Self-Publishing Your Photography or Art Book with Christine Holtz, Associate Professor of Media Arts, Robert Morris University
Saturday, March 19, 1-4 pm
Fee: $120.00 for members and Pittsburgh Filmmakers Access members; $135.00 for non-members

In this workshop, Christine Holtz, a self-publishing expert, will guide you through the steps needed to create a book using Blurb's online software.
