Celebrate youth talent in the arts by being the first to look at one of three month-long installments of the Arts Connect-ED exhibition. The artwork featured was created by student of Positive Outcomes Charter School of Camden, DE. Pre-registration is not required.

Calling all Poets!

The Biggs Museum is currently seeking poet participants for the 2011 Art & Poetry to be held during downtown Dover's April First Friday program on April 1. All levels of skill and enthusiasm are encouraged to participate! Poet participants choose a collection object as inspiration for a poem. All poets read their poems aloud next to the collection object during the Art & Poetry program. If you would like to participate, please e-mail your poem to Beccy Cooper no later than March 18th.

If you are a member of the Biggs Museum, be sure to join us on Sunday, March 20 for the annual Member Appreciation Brunch, an exclusive and free members-only event.

All Museum members are invited to attend this program for continental breakfast, mimosas and the opportunity to be the first to see the Museum's new and expanded object storage space! Look in the mail next month for your invitation! Not a member or need to renew and want to attend? You have plenty of time to join or renew and attend this special program!

Drumroll please.... the 2011 Biggs Summer Movies on the Lawn are.....

The Museum is thrilled to announce the line-up for the 2011 Biggs Summer Movies on the Lawn program. The following titles will be shown this summer: Charlotte's Web, Where the Wild Things Are, Karate Kid, Back to the Future and Grease! All dates are to be determined. We are currently looking for sponsors for this free program that drew over 1,000 members of the community and summer travelers! Please contact Sarah DiMondi for more information.
