In dieser Doppelausstellung zeigen wir Skulpturen und Zeichnungen von Sandra Munzel, sowie Grafiken aus Matthew Barneys Serien Nisshin Maru und Cremaster: Field Suite. Beide Künstler befassen sich mit dem Leibdrama - Barney mit einer visuellen, inszenierten Wucht und Munzel mit einer zurückhaltenden Aufzeichnung des genauen Fantasierens.

Cain Schulte Contemporary Art Berlin starts the new Year showing sculptures and drawings by Sandra Munzel and prints by Matthew Barney. Both artists deal with the afflictions of the human body - Barney in a visually staged vehemence and Munzel by cautiously sketching our fantasies.
