Our first salon of 2011 is our 23rd salon on Thursday 27th of January! We have happily founded a family of die-hard Salonistas, faithful participants of our sybaritic activities and events, and we welcome new and exciting members. Come share our continuing tradition of art, food and creative people with our live models, artist guests (not to mention the delicious pineapple pork by Gilles himself), and most of all you, our exuberant and intriguing Salonistas. Our models will include The lovely Essence, Dy Max and Olivia, but may lead to other nude guests as the night goes on. Come celebrate a new year of art and life on the good foot!   January Salon Features: MOLLY WEISS Layers of personality, soul, and energy characterize Molly Weiss' paintings.  From her fantastical images to her thoughtful portraits her intuitive brush strokes flirt between whimsy and soul.  This multi-talented and widely exhibited artist is bringing her talent to Art Salon.  We are proud to host her latest exhibition. www.mollyweiss.com       LYTHION MUSIC Lythion Music is the husband and wife duo of James Harrell (composer, producer, multi- instrumentalist, engineer) and Ilyana Kadushin (singer, songwriter, producer, performance coach). Together they have been composing and producing music for television, theater, film, studio and live performance for the last ten years. In addition to their music, Ilyana is widely known as the narrator for Stephenie [UTF-8?]Meyerʼs "Twilight" series audiobooks. LYTHIONMUSIC.COM Lythion Music     Killy Killy Killy is a punk rock comedic performance artist. Her most recent stateside show "KILL THE BAND" (produced, written and starring herself and her band by the same name) recieved rave reviews and won the Audience Choice award in this year's Frigid Festival. KILL THE BAND just released their first demo album "Famous Baby" available for free on her website. Killy's solo show "GIRL BALLS" headlined this years "Ladies Are Funny Festival" (LAFF) in Austin and then went international, playing in the UK to packed audiences last fall. Killy produces and hosts "Alter Ego" a monthly surreal vaudeville show on the 3rd Sunday of every month at Fontana's Bar featuring the best alternative acts in NYC and Killy performs her bawdy, oddball music and avant guard comedy antic's in guest spots all over NYC. Her newest upcoming solo show "You Shouldn't Be Here" will premier in February as part of this years Frigid Festival.
