Harvard exhibition OBJECT LESSONS showcases the work of recent graduates from the Department of Visual and Environmental Studies
On view from January 27—February 20, 2011, OBJECT LESSONS showcases the work of three recent graduates from the Department of
Visual and Environmental Studies in the first exhibition of 2011 at the Carpenter
Center for the Visual Arts. The exhibition will include mixed media, video
installation, an environmental work addressing the design of Carpenter Center,
and a reconstruction of Le Corbusier's iconic furniture using detritus gathered
from the demolition site of the Fogg Art Museum. On Thursday, February 3, at 6 pm, the artists will
discuss their practice and life after VES in a panel discussion, followed by
the opening celebration for the exhibition.
